The staff was thoughtful and experienced and we loved the coffee bar.

Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with a variety of delicious options, including champagne, in a premier queen room with a pullout couch.

I was there for 1 night and ate at casual restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. The beds were comfy, view over the city was nice. The pool was lovely and I had warm drinks in the coffee bar. It was nice to get concierge service free of charge too. The location was particularly good and the room was clean.

Love where it was located so close to get to everything and also close to public transport.

Rooms are a little tired and ned to be upgraded

Well-appointed and great-sized rooms with sparkling wine and storage space, as example, very enjoyable short stay! Fantastic location close to Comedy Theatre.

The service was fantastic, and having onsite parking was convenient, while the central business district location was perfect for a one-night stay with delicious meals at the casual restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

The greeting with a glass of sparkling wine was a very nice touch as we had been on the go since 5am, with flights and then business and finally a little longer than expected walk to the hotel from south bank it was an unexpected but very nice suprise. The temporary closure of the pool was not mentioned when I made the booking , which was disappointing to discover only once I entered my room to find a letter as this was one of the key reasons for choosing the Marriott .Credit to them as they did offer an alternative. The room was nice and love the big screen tv first time in any of the many hotels I have stayed in.The was not as comfortable as I would have expected .

The venue offers great value for birthday celebrations with a fantastic breakfast spread that includes hot options and champagne, set in a superb location near a variety of dining options.

We have stayed there many times over many years. I like: * the location * the decor in the rooms, the lobby and bar area * the staff who were excellent, particularly Valerie, the night manager This is an excellent hotel, particular for an American chain hotel. It is friendly and more efficient than others I have stayed at. Keep up the good work

Drinks not being served in the pool area

The staff are the best I have ever encountered, the location of the hotel is perfect and the upgrade was value for money. We will definitely stay with Marriott Melbourne again.

Too far to go to have a smoke and it was through the health gym, we just went outside the front of the hotel and it was cold and windy.
